NPP-USA Youth Backs EC For Registering Qualified SHS Students

It is with much pleasure to note that, in an effort to get every qualified Ghanaian registered so they can perform their civic duties, the Electoral Commission of Ghana, led by Madam Jean Mensah, have gone above and beyond to get the Senior High School students who have attained the required age of 18 years to be part of the voter registration process. This shows how serious the Electoral Commission is about the performance of their constitutionally mandated responsibility of making sure no qualified persons are disenfranchised in any way.

We the youth of NPP-USA, would like to say kudos to the Electoral Commission of Ghana for making it possible for our brothers and sisters who are currently in school to be part of the process, especially at this time that they are preparing for their final exams without necessarily having to join long queues if they were to register from home. It is also exciting to know that an opportunity will be given for same students to transfer their votes to their preferred constituencies before the 2020 elections take place.

We continue to pray for a smooth and peaceful process and assure the Commission of our unflinching support as they compile a new GHANA VOTER REGISTER.

Mo ne adwuma!

Signed
