Former Ashanti Regional Minister and Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture Commends Chapter’s Efforts and Calls for Unity.
Michigan, USA – Wednesday, July 7, 2024 – Hon. S.K. Boafo, esteemed former Ashanti Regional Minister and former Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture, made an unofficial visit to the NPP-USA Michigan Chapter, where he was warmly received by the chapter’s executive and members.
The Chapter Chairman, Mr. Seth Gyamfi, who previously served as a bodyguard for Hon. Boafo, extended a heartfelt welcome on behalf of the entire chapter. He expressed profound gratitude for the Hon. Minister’s visit, noting the significance of this being the first official visit by a high-ranking NPP member since the chapter’s inauguration on July 13, 2023.
In his remarks, Mr. Gyamfi also took the opportunity to sincerely thank Hon. Boafo for his unwavering love and support over the years. He expressed deep appreciation for the Hon. Minister’s role in shaping his life, including giving him the opportunity to travel to the United States and making him the man he is today.
During his address, Hon. Boafo commended the chapter’s leadership and members for their dedication in establishing the Michigan Chapter. He highlighted the importance of embracing differences, fostering unity, and working collectively as one people. Hon. Boafo emphasized that it is through such efforts that the party can achieve its goals, particularly in the upcoming December 7th elections, where the election of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President remains a key priority.
Following his speech, Hon. Boafo opened the floor for a question-and-answer session. Members of the chapter and the broader Ghanaian community seized the opportunity to ask various questions concerning the development of Ghana. Hon. Boafo responded candidly, addressing the concerns and providing insightful perspectives on the nation's progress.
