The Atlanta Chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP-USA) successfully hosted a virtual Presidential Aspirants’ Forum on Saturday, November 15, 2025, giving party members and supporters a chance to hear directly from representatives of the candidates vying to lead the party into the 2028 elections.
The event, which began at 10:00 p.m. Ghana time (5:00 p.m. EST), was opened by Kwame Boafo, PRO of NPP-Atlanta, with the playing of the national anthems of the NPP, Ghana, and the United States. Dr. Kwasi Ayim-Darko, Chapter Chairperson, then introduced the Atlanta Chapter executives before handing over to a distinguished panel of moderators led by Dr. Agnes Adu (Former CEO, Trade Fair).
Candidate Representation
All aspirants were represented except Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong.
- Hon. Kennedy Agyapong – represented by Dr. Bannasco Ampong-Ansah
- Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia – represented by Kofi Tonto
- Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum – represented by Dr. Nana Gyamfi Adwabour
- Ing. Kwabena Agyepong – represented by Willem Alexanda Coleman
Each representative was given 10 minutes to present their candidate’s vision, followed by a Q&A session where they addressed five broad-spectrum questions.





Distinguished Attendees
The forum drew participation from notable figures within the NPP fraternity, including Ing. Kwabena Agyepong, Dr. Bannor, Mrs. Josephine Agyekum-Wallace (Former Deputy MD, PMMC), Prince Gumah (Former Deputy Youth Organizer, NPP-USA), Hon. Ransford Agyapong (Former MP, Suhum), Nana Agyei Yeboah (Former Chairman, NPP-USA), and Collins Nuamah (Former MD, Ghana Water).
Closing Remarks
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Emmanuel Mensah, Deputy Secretary of NPP-USA, who commended the Atlanta Chapter for organizing a “decent and impactful forum” and expressed gratitude to all participants and campaign representatives.
