The Washington Metro Chapter of NPP-USA swore in the newly elected executives of the Chapter during a virtual event on Saturday May 7, 2022. The new executives of the Chapter are:
- Chairman: Janis Asare-Bediako
- Secretary: Edward Oppong Kyekyeku
- Treasurer: Felix Ohene-Bediako
- Organizer: Kojo Dei
- Women’s Organizer: Kate Forson
In a speech by the Branch Chairperson, Obaa Yaa Frimpong, she advised the new executives to work hard to build a strong Chapter. She noted that the Washington Metro Chapter is one of the finest chapters in the Branch, thus there is every opportunity for the new leaders to salvage the image, and make the Washington Metro Chapter, great again. Madam Obaa Yaa, said that the Branch is solidly behind the Chapter and it's new leadership and are committed to help resolve any outstanding issues.
The new executives were sworn in by the Branch Secretary, Augustine Agbenaza. Also gracing the occasion were Mr. Danny Antwi from the Columbus Chapter and the Branch Communications Director, Josephine Agyekum-Wallace who joined from Ghana.
