The New Patriotic Party-USA (NPP-USA) unequivocally rejects the latest unfounded and desperate claims made by Kevin Taylor, the self-styled political commentator behind the propaganda platform Loud Silence TV. In his latest attempt to seek attention, Taylor alleges he possesses a list of undocumented NPP-USA members, which he intends to report to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The Office of the Special Prosecutor’s (OSP) recent declaration of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as a fugitive is legally flawed, procedurally improper, and a violation of due process. A careful review of the facts, as documented in the official correspondence between Mr. Ofori-Atta, the Chief of Staff, and the OSP, makes it abundantly clear that he is not evading justice but is undergoing legitimate medical treatment in the United States.

The NPP-USA acknowledges the release of journalist Okatakyie Afrifa, who was unjustly detained by Mahama’s National Security operatives for simply exercising his constitutional right to free speech. While we welcome his release, his arrest sends a chilling message—under Mahama, no critic is safe. His government is willing to go to extreme lengths to silence dissenting voices.
