The attention of the New Patriotic Party – USA Branch (NPP-USA Branch) has been drawn to a statement dated May 26, 2025, issued under the banner of Team Ken USA – North America, which purports to speak on behalf of a so-called "NPP USA Chapter" in response to comments made by Mr. James Owusu, First Vice Chairman of the NPP-USA Branch.
We wish to issue this rejoinder to address key inaccuracies, reaffirm our official communication structures, and reinforce our collective commitment to party unity and constitutional compliance.

The NPP-USA Michigan Chapter hosted Mr. Kofi Tonto, political aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during a special meeting held in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. Chairman Seth Gyamfi welcomed Mr. Tonto and thanked him, along with all chapter members, for their continued support and dedication to the party.

The NPP-USA acknowledges the release of journalist Okatakyie Afrifa, who was unjustly detained by Mahama’s National Security operatives for simply exercising his constitutional right to free speech. While we welcome his release, his arrest sends a chilling message—under Mahama, no critic is safe. His government is willing to go to extreme lengths to silence dissenting voices.

In his latest attempt to seek attention, Taylor alleges he possesses a list of undocumented NPP-USA members, which he intends to report to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
